Board of Trustees 2009-2010

The Board of Trustees bears ultimate responsibility for the well-being of the school.  Members are volunteers, nominated by the Board Committee on Trustees and elected by the full Board of Trustees.  Members are selected for their particular talents, experience and abilities.   They include the Head of School, past and current parents, alumni and other friends of Professional Children's School.  The Board determines the school's objectives and sees that those objectives are appropriately achieved.  The Board hires the Head of School and delegates all administrative functions to the Head.  The Board is responsible for the financial health of the school, determining an annual budget and managing the school's endowment and resources.
